Cleaner, more accurate data to build lasting customer relationships

Capture Resource offers advanced data cleansing options that assure quality data during the enrollment process, as well as services that update the data according to USPS standards on an ongoing basis. Our services result in bulk postage rates for mailings and reduce the high cost of undeliverable mail pieces due to incomplete or inaccurate data.


During enrollment:

  • Basic Address Standardization: Prior to populating the database with new enrollment information, our system runs each record through a standardization process using quarterly updates from the USPS. It provides standardization of street, city, and state and adds zip+4, plus mail deliverability codes to each record
  • Enhanced Address Standardization: Includes all of the features of basic address standardization, as well as correcting first and last name spelling, appending secondary addresses and adding or updating the phone number to the record.

Post-enrollment:

  • National Change of Address (NCOA): Improves mail deliverability by comparing addresses against 48-months of USPS address change notifications. Standardizes CASS addresses, adding ZIP+ 4.
  • Second Generation Delivery Sequence File (DSF2): Minimizes address delivery errors not detected by NCOA or CASS-certified processing by identifying inaccurate or incomplete addresses.
  • Address Element Correction (AEC): Focuses on inaccurate addresses that failed to receive a ZIP + 4 code using CASS-certified address matching software. If AEC cannot determine a match, the address is likely undeliverable.
  • Locatable Address Conversion System (LACS): Provides an automated method of obtaining new addresses when a 911 emergency system has been implemented. Also provides changes when a rural-style address has been changed to a city-style address.
  • Deceased Suppression: Indicates records that match a 10-year old deceased file obtained from the Social Security database and private notification sources.
  • Do Not Mail Suppression (DMA): Indicates records that match the Direct Marketing Association's (DMA'S) "Do Not Mail" file and the "Prison Suppression" file.
  • Phone append: Appends the names and addresses in a file with phone numbers that match the address. CASS certification is applied previous to phone append.
  • Reverse Phone Append: Cross references and identifies address information from a 10-digit phone number.
  • Email Append: Attempts to verify and append email addresses. A given email address is tested to verify its existence. If it exists or is forwarded to a new e-mail address the original email address is appended.
  • Apartment append: Appends apartment numbers and records missing secondary address information.

RPS Reports™– Reporting and analytics
These robust services allow detailed reporting for all enrollment statistics. Comprehensive reports are available on client-specified intervals, covering all facets of loyalty program enrollment, and can be broken down to division, district, or even individual stores. Reports can contain information such as mail grade statistics, types and quantity of enrollments (paper, web, kiosk) and financial reconciliation.
